¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish Schoolhouse in Pearland, TX! We are excited to be joining the Pearland community in the fall of 2023. We are conveniently located on Business Center Drive, west of 288/South Freeway and just south of the Pearland Town Center. With over 20 years of experience and 19 preschool locations, we are proud to be the largest Spanish immersion preschool program in Texas. We invite you to learn about our unique curriculum, authentic culture, and nurturing environment. What is Spanish Immersion?

Spanish immersion is a language-building technique that surrounds students with the Spanish language every day. By hearing Spanish spoken in the classroom by native speakers, children gain a deeper understanding and develop an ear for the language. This provides a solid Spanish foundation for them as they learn to speak, read, and write in Spanish in later years. Spanish Schoolhouse uses immersion to expose children to the language and give them a great start in becoming multilingual. Their immersion in  Spanish during their formative years will stay with them for a lifetime.

Why Spanish Immersion?

Children are born with the potential to speak any language they hear, but the language they hear the most is the one they learn the fastest. In our Spanish immersion environment, children are surrounded by Spanish every day. They learn it through the natural interactions of school activities and social experiences. Communication happens spontaneously and conversation is key! Our program is especially helpful for children who hear another language at home. They develop skills in both languages simultaneously while their learning potential is at its peak.

Spanish Schoolhouse Pearland is one of the best preschool in the Houston area, and we’re thrilled to share the Spanish language and Hispanic traditions with new speakers! Our amazing staff members come from several Latin American countries, and every member of our team is passionate about teaching cultural appreciation and diversity in a safe and loving space. Our student-to-teacher ratios are some of the best. Our curriculum includes interactive enrichment activities such as learning about traditional foods from Latin countries, celebrating holidays and customs, and experiencing the rhythms, songs, and dances of Spanish-speaking countries around the world

My little one has been attending SSH for the last 3 years and has had a wonderful learning experience! Spanish Schoolhouse will always hold an incredibly special place in our hearts! This is not only a school but one big family. The teachers are incredible! They love the children like they are their own and my daughter loves them back just as much. The culture is fun, playful and caring. The teachers even know our youngest daughter who is too young to attend and they always are asking about her.

My daughter has learned so much in her time here. The activities and curriculum are well-organized and unique. They incorporate Spanish culture from all around the world through music, art projects and so many other ways.

We absolutely love Spanish Schoolhouse! Within the first couple of weeks of my son starting he was already walking around the house singing songs in Spanish. My son can be introverted at times and the teachers and staff are so warm and welcoming. We are so grateful for how attentive and loving his teachers are. I’ve had the opportunity to observe instruction and the teachers are all so engaging, passionate, and fun. My son’s accent sounds like a native speaker already and he begs to watch shows in Spanish at home. In addition to being thrilled that our child is able to learn Spanish in such a fun environment, we are so happy he is getting wonderful exposure to Latin American culture.
